The Apple iPod Nano was originally designed just to play music and store photos on it, however 2 years after it was first released, a lot has changed.
The main feature that the first Apple iPod nano had that was different to any other Apple iPod was that it had a miniscule frame. The Apple iPod Nano managed to sell 1,000,000 units of the 2GB and 4GB versions within the first 17 days of release due to its incredible popularity with the world. Even though the Apple iPod nano 1st generation was absolutely tiny, it has an incredible endurance which gives consumers confidence in the products they were buying. Apple later released a 1GB version of it in Februrary 2006.
The 2nd generation Apple iPod Nano is thinner by 0.4mm and 2 grams lighter than the original model and is developed with a aluminium anodized casing which comes in 5 different colours. The 2nd generation Apple iPod Nano consisted of a 24 hour battery life instead of its predecessor’s 14 hour battery life. The Apple iPod Nano 2nd Gen comes with a 40% brighter screen and is available in 2, 4 and 8GB unlike the 1st generation that had 1, 2 and 4GB models. It is as strong as the 1st generation Apple iPod Nano. Apple later released a (PRODUCT RED) version of the Apple iPod Nano.
The 3rd generation Apple iPod Nano is thicker and heavier than the previous models, however, is much more advanced. For the first time, Apple has included a video function with an Apple iPod Nano that comes in either 4GB or 8GB in 5 different colours. It has a 2.0 inch LCD screen which is half an inch bigger than the previous 2 models and has a 24 hour battery life just like the Apple iPod Nano 2nd generation.
